Software for practices and professional firms#

Practices and firms have one peculiarity: the most sensitive part of your data is the part nobody may touch. That is why for software in your workplace the first question is not the feature list but: where does the data live, who has access, what gets logged?

What I say about data — before I talk about features#

How it runs for you#

StepWhat happensWhat it gives you
1 Intro call (20 min, free): your workflow, your devices, your privacy requirements Clarity whether a sprint fits
2 Scope sheet in week 1: functions as testable statements, data handling written down A binding scope, a fixed price
3 Four weeks of development, tested by your team with real sample data Practical suitability, not a sales demo
4 Handover: repository, documentation, training, 30 days of bug fixing Independence from the developer

Typical workflows I build for practices and firms#

  • Appointment and resource management: treatment rooms, devices or consultation slots without phone ping-pong — with the exceptions real life produces (sickness, double bookings, emergencies).
  • Digital forms instead of paper: anamnesis or engagement forms that arrive structured instead of needing to be scanned — with clear rules on where the data goes and how long it is kept.
  • Reminders and follow-ups: automatic reminders by e-mail or SMS via a provider you choose, with an opt-out for your patients and clients.
  • Document storage with search: storage with roles, so that assistants and professionals see different depths.
  • Billing preparation: capturing services so your billing system receives clean data — without double entry.

What I do not build: practice management systems that replace core medical or legal processes. I build software around your systems — not instead of them.

The five objections from your sector — and my answers#

Our data is confidential.
That is why data handling is in the scope sheet: location, access, retention, deletion — in writing before the start. Mutual NDA on request, a DPA where personal data is involved.
We don't need an app, we need reliability.
That is exactly why I deliver documentation, CI and a handover workshop — so your system keeps running even when I am unavailable.
Changes take months here.
With me they run through a written change order: what changes, what it costs, what moves — while the fixed price for the rest stays stable.
Our team isn't technical.
The application is tested with your team, not with testers. German-language interface, German error messages, training at the handover.
What does it cost?
The prototype sprint is €4,800 for four weeks, fixed. For practices and firms with a smaller budget, the clickable prototype at €1,200 is a sensible first step. All prices: /en/preise.

Price and next step#

Fixed prices, no timesheets: prototype sprint €4,800 (4 weeks), clickable prototype €1,200 (1 week), maintenance €240/month. Under § 19 UStG no VAT is charged.
